Intel ITC T265 Wide-angle Sensor

Hi all

Does the RealSense Sensor works also with Aximmetry Basic Calibrator for Virtual Studio and UE 5?

Does that work when I buy your Aximmetry Studio DE for 490 Euro, and the Basic Calibrator for 45 Euro for RealSense Sensor?

Thanks for your Feedback

Best Daniel Walser

Hi Daniel,

Yes, Intel Realsense T265 works with Studio DE, as it is an experimental tracking system: https://aximmetry.com/learn/faq/hardware/#what-tracking-systems-are-supported-in-any-aximmetry-edition

What is being sold separately is not the Basic Calibrator, but the Camera Calibrator.
The Basic Calibrator is only included in the Broadcast version.
You can find the difference between the calibrator programs here: https://my.aximmetry.com/post/2257-which-calibrator-should-i-use

Intel Realsense T265  will work with both calibrator programs.

Warmest regards,

Dear Eifert,

Having this said, does this mean that As we Simply Plug the t-265 to our system We are ready to go only with Aximmetry as software I mean no additional Software is required to track our camera..? I mean please correct me if I am wrong.. I do not have to purchase a Retracker Software licence or alike.?

Thank you.

Hi Daniel,

When T265 is plugged into your computer, Aximmetry will detect it and you will be able to select it as a tracking device. And Aximmetry will read its tracking data.
However, Retracker offers more than just reading this tracking data as steki0 said it here: https://my.aximmetry.com/post/2597-intel-realsense-t265-as-camera-tracker-a
Depending on your project, it is very likely that you can benefit from what Retracker offers. If you have more questions, please continue the discussion in the other post, which I linked.

Warmest regards,
