Excuse me, how did the dragon get occluded by the entity? Is there a garbage mask in pixotope, is there a garbage mask in aximmetry?

Hi,

Aximmetry has the mask modules detailed in the previous answer: https://my.aximmetry.com/post/1511-mask-for-ar
But if you have a moving or rotating camera and you want the AR object to appear before and behind the mask too, then you will have to use the BoxMask-3D. This is only if you use Unreal, if you use Aximmetry, you will need a different way to mask.

If you are stuck somewhere, please detail where it is and we will try to help.

Warmest regards,

BoxMask It only has a square mask, no custom shapes, for example a car mask, I used a moving RedSpy to shoot AR, so how can I move the position to make a garbage mask?

Hello Solovai,

use Masker's Mask property to select any grayscale image as a mask:

The easiest way to create a mask image is to use an external software like Photoshop, but you can also use the Paint functionality of Aximmetry if needed.

@Ahmed: I think that what Solovai wants is a tracked 3D mask. Is there no way to use a custom mesh instead of a simple box as a 3D mask in Aximmetry?

Hi,

If you are using AR Unreal scene, you can try the methods discussed here:
https://my.aximmetry.com/post/1960-ar-pop-out-effect
It should work even if you want to use custom mesh instead of planes.
This method works in Aximmetry rendered scenes even if you are not using an AR compound.

If you are stuck somewhere Solovai, feel free to ask in that thread, and please mention where or how you are stuck.

Warmest regards,
