Tracking Objects in UE4 for Aximmetry

Hi .

From what I could pick up from using ue4 for aximmetry is that trackers don't work in ue4 for Aximmetry ( I I mean node called " Get tracked device position and orientation " doesn't work .

so my question is if I want to track an object in ue4 and move it while I'm in Aximmetry how should I do it ?

I'm using HTC Vive Trackers .

Where did you get that tracking doesn’t work with UE4 scene in Aximmetry? It absolutely does... I think the mode you looking for when using Vive trackers is called Game Pose. Also, make sure the object you want to move in the UE4 scene is set to Moveable and not Static.

Why should I work for free for you, buddy? I already gave you an answer. Did you even try what I suggested? I know for a fact that trackers work in Aximmetry, and I was simply trying to correct that misunderstanding. If you had searched the forum you would have found I gave you adequate information, but you need to do some of the work yourself to ever be able to learn:

Check out the scene where he picks up the flower here, it’s all done with Vive trackers in Aximmetry:

Good luck with your future endeavors.

I just want to say I greatly appreciate the information.  The picking up the flower is amazing and the first time I have seen someone do that with Aximmetry.

Hi Antonio,

Your question refers to an Unreal blueprint node. It unfortunately does not work with Vive, because we had to remove the OpenVR support from Unreal to prevent its interference with Aximmetry's own OpenVR implementation.

As TwentyStudios suggested you have to use the Game Pose node on the Aximmetry side as described in the linked post.
