Installing Fab to Unreal Engine Aximmetry

Hello,

I am trying to install the Fab library/plugin to unreal engine Aximmetry, but it is not working.

I have followed the steps in this post https://my.aximmetry.com/post/4350-fab-plugin but it's still not showing any Fab tabs in the unreal engine interface.

I have tried putting the Fab plugin in both the plugin folder, and the marketplace folder, neither of which work.

The Fab plugin works fine on UE5 regular version.

I have looked in both the content drawer and the "window" tab and it's not showing Fab anywhere (See below screenshot).

No Fab plugin is available in the plugins menu.

Am I doing something wrong? I can't figure out why it's not working... I have previously installed the TwinMotion plugins and they have worked, so I know it's something with this plugin specifically...

Thanks.

Hi,

In this case, it doesn’t matter whether you place it in the Marketplace folder or directly in the Plugins folder—either way, it should appear in the Window menu:

Could it be that you downloaded the Fab plugin for a different version of Unreal than 5.4?

Also, check if the plugin is not disabled under Edit > Plugins:

Warmest regards,

Hello Eifert@Aximmetry

I currently am using Unreal Engine 5.3, as well as Unreal Engine Aximmetry 5.3. As mentioned in my first post, the Fab plugin shows up fine in UE5.3 (standard) but not in UEA5.3?

As mentioned and shown in my first post, the fab plugin is not showing in the "Window" menu, or at the top of the content window.
Also as mentioned, there is no fab plugin showing in the plugin menu, I did already check and say it was not there...

Please advise.

Thanks.

Hi,

I successfully added the Fab plugin into Unreal Editor 5.3 for Aximmetry without any issues:

You should make sure you have copied the Fab folder correctly into Unreal Editor for Aximmetry, not into any other Unreal Engine installations.
Additionally, check the Output Log for any error messages. If you have correctly placed the Fab folder into  ...Aximmetry...\UnrealEngine\Engine\Plugins, you should see the following logs when starting Unreal Editor for Aximmetry:
