Cant output audio from virtual screens

@Eiffert : I am  trying to output  the  video and audio from the virtual screens , and the LIVE  option in Main,   however I only have video in my  final output. I can hear the audio on my monitor, however I cannot seem to  bind it  to the video output in Flow.  I can peek and listen to that audio on the  Switch Audio compound, howeber I cannot Peek  this  audio anywhere  or listen to it on the  Flow  pane.l How do I use the  Screen Audio Switch  on the  Main  control panel.

Thanks

@Eiffert: help please. I need to fix this audio issue for a project. I have no issues getting SDI embedded audio from  my SDI output however I cannot get the audio out from the vrtuals screens on to that SDI out, although the video is there. I can hear  and peek the virtual screens audio on the Switch Audio compound. How do I bind that to the main SDI out

@Eiffert: I was able to get the audio on to the output on the BM  Mini Monitor, by configuring it in the Windows Control Panel / manage Sound  devices, however I need to to the same for any recording done in Aximmetry. I am only able to record  sound off the Record 3 Audio compound within Aximmetry -  in this case SDI embedded audio from microphones. The Virtual Screens audio  does is not present on recordings made from the Main  panel.

Hi,

If Unreal Engine is playing back audio and you want to use it in Aximmetry, you should follow this workaround: https://my.aximmetry.com/post/3723-how-to-get-the-audio-output-from-ue-in-a

Warmest regards,

@Eiffert: I think you misunderstood what I am trying to achieve. This is not an Unreal issue. I am not playing back files from Unreal.Everything is being done in Aximmetry.

I need to play  back video and audio from the Virtual Screens in the Main control panel  and have that audio and video available on my SDI out of the BM mini monitor card. So far I have only  been able to achieve this by selecting the BM option on my sound card in Windows / Control panel. I have difficulty configuring it from Aximmetry.

I also need to record video from my tracked cams along with the corresponding audio that's SDI embedded from these cameras, as well as audio and video from thr Virtual Screens. As it stands , when recording in Main control in  Aximmetry, I have audio and video from the cameras and Virtual set,  and video from the Virtual Screens . However there is no audio available on the recording from the files I play from the Virtual Screens. How do I get the Virtual Screens audio which I can hear and peek in the Audio  Switch compound Screens, on to the recording. Although I can peek this audio in the Audio Switch compound, it is not available on Flow as an OUT.

Hi,

To output audio in the SDI, you need to embed them, and for that, you need to expose them along the SDI output channel. You can find more details on how to do this here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/scripting-in-aximmetry/flow-editor/flow-editor/#exposed-video-output-index

Regarding your question about virtual screens, could you please clarify if you are referring to videos played back in Aximmetry using the Video Player modules or the camera's INPUT for the camera compound?

Ideally, you should record only the inputs using the Record_3-Audio compound and then mix any additional audio with the Audio Mixer before outputting it, for example:

However, this approach will not capture the additional audio within Record_3-Audio's video recording. To resolve this, you can mix the additional audio into an input that will be used throughout the production, for example:

Alternatively, you can use one of the camera sound inputs solely for this purpose:

This last solution will also work if you choose to use the Record Separately option:

Record Separately allows each camera's audio to be recorded into a separate track of the video file.

Warmest regards,
