How to get the Audio output from UE in axi

 

Hi, i have a sound effects for F1 car animations in UE scene,  I can control the sequence animation in aximmetry, and there is the sound from my computer when it's played.

Here comes the question,how can  i get the sound from unreal to the axi output node of the audio.

Hi,

Currently, there is no built-in solution for receiving audio from Unreal within Aximmetry directly, but we have this feature in our request list for future updates.

In the meantime, you can achieve this using a virtual audio device, such as the VB-CABLE driver. After installing the virtual audio device, you will need to set the Unreal output to this virtual audio device through the Windows Volume Mixer, as shown here:


Then in Aximmetry, you can receive audio through this virtual audio device using the Audio Input module:

Note, that you can playback sound files in Aximmetry using the Audio Player module, this way you can playback the car's sound from Aximmetry if it is not affected by Unreal's environment or logic.
