Birddog P4K PTZ FreeD output is not recognised in Aximmetry Lens calibrator or Aximmetry DE Broadcast (version 2023.2.2)

I have setup a Birddog P4K set to output FreeD protocol. With Wireshark on the same PC I see the PTZ is sending packets 29 bytes at the right port, and values are changing when adjusting Pan Tilt Zoom Focus on the unit.

But in Lens calibrator when this IP and Port is added in Device manager, and selected in Lens calibrator as Tracking device, all values swap and stay @ 0.0 (V:60 degrees).

Any Idea's? I'm also looking for a little tool that can display FreeD messages to check if the data is valid, but I looks I have to write a tool myself, as when I google I don't find anything.

If support is interested I can make a log in Wireshark.

Hi,

It could be that Wireshark is reading the Visca data.

Also, note that the P4K's FreeD is in beta: https://birddog.tv/camera-release-notes-094-1/

In other Birddog cameras, we found that the camera uses Camera ID: 1. You need to specify the camera ID in the FreeD settings of Aximmetry.

Do you get any error messages or data in Aximmetry when selecting the FreeD tracking?
Note, that you don't need a camera compound to do so, you can easily show the FreeD position with the following modules in Aximmetry:

Warmest regards,
