Tracked Camera - Unreal Camera Settings

Hello,

I use tracked camera, using Optitrack, but I still have no lens encoder, so I'd like to change focus distance of the Unreal Tracked Camera in Aximmetry by hand.

Is it possible to do that?

Thank you

Shameless bump.

Sorry, I've got a production next to the corner and I need a nice defocus effect in close-up...

I've seen the Unreal blueprint of the tracked camera and it seems like there's already some Aximmetry nodes in place for focus distance, and it suggest me I can pull this parameter in Composer, using scalar nodes, but for some reason it is ignored. I think it is because those nodes are ignored since Aximmetry expect to be controlled by lens encoders, is this correct?

If it is so, how can I bypass this boolean in Unreal and have those parameter free in Composer?

Thank you again.

Ok, seems like a "Set Collection Scalar" was the right way to make it work, thank you.

Hi,

Note, if you have Manual Lens turned on in your Tracked camera compound, then you can use the Manual Focus to change the focus with a lens encoder:

However, if you have only a lens encoder for Zoom and no encoder for focus, then you will have to do as you said with the "Set Collection Scalar". There is no need to change any boolean in that case, just do it like it is discussed at the start in Aximmetry Composer here: https://my.aximmetry.com/post/1795-focus-control-with-tracking

Warmest regards,
