Weird interface with 2023. 1. 0. version

After update to 2023. 1. 0, I coud not see Sync check box and could not select Calibration Profile.

I think interface is somehow chopped and restarting the program does not change anything.

I am currently using Windows 11 (Korean version).

Please help me with this matter.

Thank you.

Try setting Windows interface scaling to 100% if you currently have it set to something else.

Hi, TwentyStudios.

Thank you for quick reply.

I tried to change scaling to 100% and it did not work.

I even tried to reboot OS after changing it, and it also did not work.

Hi,

This is most likely caused by the same issue as here: https://my.aximmetry.com/post/1657-how-to-change-the-startup-configuration

You need to add the English language pack to Windows 11. Probably you don't need to actually switch to English, the language pack just needs to be installed on your windows.

This has been fixed in a previous Aximmetry version. Maybe the fix doesn't work for Windows 11. We are investigating the issue and you expect it to be fixed in a future version.

Warmest regards,

Hi, Eifert.

I did see that post and tried to install English pack. I even tried to change my region setting to US and also chaged main language pack to English.

But all those works did not fix the situation I am having right now.

I am actually having this issue with several of my PCs, and we have both Windows 10 and 11 on each of them.

Hi,

Until now, this was dealable issue since I could manually pick calibration profile after booting composer without mapping tracking device.

But the situation became somewhat urgent.

I found that I could not use multi machine setup since I cannot select Calibration profile from Device Mapper on each Media server.

Also, I cannot check Sync from booting menu.

Please help.

Hi,

We found a workaround while we fix the issue in Aximmetry:

In Windows 10, you need to go to Settings -> Time & Language -> Language -> Administrative language settings:

Administrative -> Copy settings:

Welcome screen has to be set to English:

Your account display language can be Korean, but at boot up (Welcome screen) the displayed language has to be English.

Warmest regards,

Thank you so much, Eifert.

I finally got to see all cropped parts of Aximmetry interface after changing Welcom screen - Display language to English.

Best Regards,
