Aximmetry 4.1 and 5.0

Hi,

can we have two installations of aximmetry 4.1 and 5.0 on one PC? We just want to explore UE 5.0 and see if everything will work before switch.

Thanks!

I was hoping for the same, but installing Axy5 just uninstalls Axy4 without any further ado.... :-/

Seems to work though, although 5 seems to consume a bit more CPU power for reasons we haven't figured out yet....

I'm also switching back and forth between UE4 and 5 at the moment, and it's a bit of a headache indeed.

Maybe it's possible to have the community version in UE4 and the licensed version in UE 5.0 or vice versa? I haven't checked it yet.

@Eric : I noticed UE5 is also heavier on default settings, but disabling virtual shadows, lumen and nanite (basically the pretty new stuff) goes back pretty much to what UE4 was if you don't need it.

Hi,

We have a post on this here: https://my.aximmetry.com/post/2318-can-202241-and-202250-be-installed-next
Sadly, the answer is no, you can not switch between two installation versions.

Warmest regards,
