I was able to connect 10 cameras....Will the system be able to withstand it?

 


I was able to connect 10 cameras.

Can the system really stand if it connects 10 cameras?


In the past, I received 10 video inputs and connected 4 cameras,

but the Cpu market share was not this high.

Hello,

It is highly unlikely that one machine can handle this many inputs. You need to test it and monitor the usage yourself but from our experience it is unlikely.

I know my settings are only available on special occasions.

But a lot of input is sometimes helpful.

Because I can use more cameras to direct live.

For example, in the case of a four-seat talk show, 10 virtual cameras are very helpful.

What I hope is that there are so many cameras available in the Unreal engine.

Hi,

Connecting the same video input to all the 10 billboards is very different from actually using 10 camera regarding the data transfer rate.

However, in the next release we'll add a 8-input version of VirtualCam.  It is also a bit more optimized regarding the used GPU and the data transfer than the previous VirtualCam compound.  Please try it,  first with 8 camera, then if it works well,  you can try to extend that one to 10-cam.
