I have seen a lot of situation that xpack files (especially common library ) became Corrupted after using softwares like IDM to download or moving it several time in PC Harddisk.
Also when coping these files from shared folders.

"Becoming corrupt" means some change occurs in the file during download or copying. It's either the fault of the downloading process or your harddrive.
There's nothing special in the xpack file that makes it "more vulnerable" to this kind of data loss.
