Thank you for adding this!

Can you provide instructions to the Wiki or in the forum on how to set it up?

Hi,

Yes of course.

Firstly OptiTrack's Motive app has to be running, this is the one Aximmetry communicates with.

The set of tracker you have mounted on the camera have to be added as a rigid body in Motive.

If Motive runs on the same PC as Aximmetry you do not have to do any further setup in Aximmetry.
Whenever you open a dropdown list for selecting a tracking device in Aximmetry, all the OptiTrack rigid bodies should be listed in 1-2 seconds.

If it does not work please try to switch off Firewall in Windows.

If Motive runs on a different machine, go to

Select the network adapter through which you can communicate with the other PC via your local network.

Teh specify the IP of the other PC  (Server IP).
That's it, the rest should work as described above.

Again if does not work try to switch off the Firewall on both PCs.

Hi Zoltan@Aximmetry.

We have an Optitrack setup and are struggling to get correct camera calibration. We have followed every process as described in the knowledge base and believe we have the exact right offsets for the tracker position in relation to the camera sensor as well as zoom data/sensor size etc.

We also noticed that we had to flip certain axes rotation and even disabled the roll transform. Our pan left and right looks pretty solid and locked but or tilt is still not where we feel it should be. Could you be of any assistance in helping us get a better calibration? See video here for an example

Thanks in advance!

Hi Keaganbw,

A new version of Aximmetry (2021.3.2) was released a day ago.
In this version, we fixed the source of your issue.
(Fixed incorrect handling of OptiTrack coordinate system.)

Warmest regards,
