TWO VIDEO INPUT CAPTURE DEVICES WITH SAME NAME - PROBLEM

Hi,

I´m going into a little problema in Aximmetry. I have two units of atem mini, two units of camlink 4k hdmi-usb capture devices. Aximmetry seems to see them in the video input devices as different devices but once I connect them to the video input nodes or the virtual screen only show me signal from one of each.

So for example I connect two cameras to the cam link 4k´s and i have mapped one to input 7 and the other to input 8 only i see the feed from input 7, doesnt matter if I select the mapped 8 in the video input node or the virtual screen.

That happend to me with atem minis, camlink 4k, and aver media bu110 cpture cards.

It's strange. Can I ask you to test them with other software to check if this is an Aximmetry issue or not. Thank you!

Hi Zoltan, that happens only in Axi, in obs, vmix , livestream studio, all the devices are recognized as individual! Let me know if is any fix. In the window to map devices appears both of each but once you are inside the project the software detects or read only one!

Same issue for me, I have two Elgato CAM LINK 4k, on a different USB root, working perfectly on Vmix, OBS, Zoom etc.. but AX receive the same image for both

Can I ask if they also appear with the same name in the device list in Aximmetry? I mean do you see two "Cam Link 4K" in the list without any numbering?

Hi,

A new version of Aximmetry (2021.3.2) was released recently.
Which fixed similar issues for the following devices:
"Fixed handling of multiple DirectShow devices with the same name (e.g. multiple Elgato Cam Links)."
"Fixed handling of multiple Magewell devices with the same name."

If you are still experiencing this problem, please reply with the device's brand and model you use.

Hi, I have 3 projectors connected trought HDMI. I can manage video outputs perfectly as always, but I cannot send different audio signal embedded with my audio nodes. I have 3 different audio output nodes and when I want to select the device I see three different projectors but with the same name. No matter if I map them into the manage device section. All the audio output from the same single projector

Do you have the same issue when using an Audio Out module?

When selecting your projector's audio device, you should see them numbered similarly to this (2-, 3-):

If this numbering doesn't happen, then can you share your projector's model number, that might help us to figure out what is going wrong.
