Feature request: Allow tracked items/objects in Aximmetry DE's version of OpenVR (Game Pose) to be picked up and dropped

Hello,

I saw on another post that Aximmetry had to remove the OpenVR implementation in Unreal Engine to avoid conflicts with Aximmetry's version of OpenVR.

I know that the Game Pose node works for tracking objects via passing transformation in Unreal Engine for the HTC vive, but I don't think it allows you to use a HTC Vive physical button to pick up and drop objects.

I need my talent (in a Billboard) to be able to pickup and move and drop objects inside Unreal Engine while live in Aximmetry DE.  I figure the talent could use a HTC Vive handheld controller and use the button on that controller to do this, but I don't think Aximmetry DE allows that.

Hi,

That's right, Aximmetry does not support picking up objects unfortunately.

What we can do is adding an option to Aximmetry to yield the handling of OpenVR to Unreal,
We've added this to our backlog, it will be implemented soon.

But please note that in this case you won't be able to use Vive for camera tracking in Aximmetry.

Thank you for that answer.  I look forward to the option of handling of OpenVR to Unreal.   I use virtual cameras so I am okay with losing the ability to use Vive for camera tracking.
