is there any consideration whether to go for either RTX 3080 or RTX 3090 in terms of performance and workflow?
What if I got for RTX 3080, less vram means what in unreal aximmetry?

It honestly depends on your budget. If the budget is not a concern for you, then go for the 3090 by all means. However, the difference is marginal between the two cards based on this article from PugetSystems :

So, if your setup is lacking in a different area, I would recommend investing money on other equipment and getting the 3080.
