I think you set this in the Decklink control panel? You can only use either HDMI or SDI and not both at the same time.

Regardless what i have on my decklink control panel, Aximmetry won´t give me an option to choose. It just takes the SDI one.

Just some extra info:

every time on my comp, when I select the device from the video input module and choose Blackmagic Decklink... I see on the log window: 

"[Arr] Opening device "Video: Blackmagic: Decklink mini Recorder...""

but inmediately in the next line i get

"[Arr] Closing device "Video: Blackmagic: Decklink mini Recorder...""

Same problem here. Intensity cards are working, but decklink mini recorder not. Set HDMI in Decklink Video Setup, but as gazzo said, its closing the device immediately.

Any news on this?

@Ahmed, this isn’t how it worked before or how I think it’s supposed to work. Previously, the HDMI ports of mixed HDMI/SDI cards have worked. Only the SDI ports have been disabled in the lower tier versions. The Decklink Extreme 12g has both HDMI and SDI...

I think you're not talking about the same issue.

Chunski's problem is the missing list of video modes.  While the others experiencing immediate closing after opening which means they were able to select a video mode.  Is that right?

Nevertheless unfortunately we could not reproduce any of the two issues on our machines.

Might be a stupid question, but are your sure you all using the latest Blackmagic drivers?

As written above, i do have the same issue, device is opening and closing immediatly. Also the list of input modes is empty as in chunskis pictures.

i am on the latest desktop video version, so firmware should be up to date. Might this be a problem with the mini recorder (not the 4k version)?

Im having the same problem, in the device mapper the ultrastudio mini recoder appears with HDMi input but I cannot set the video format. Im using the last drivers from BMD.

Ultrastudio is yet another type of device, but we'll check.

I just tested in Studio Version, and also appears without details, and inside the Video In module also dont allow to change the details. It works fine with Decklink Quad Hdmi.

We cannot test this device specifically at the moment, but it should work.
However I recommend testing it before you take any steps. We can provide a Professional or Broadcast trial license for that.  Please write to sales@aximmetry.com for request.

Yes, it seems to have a Sync input,  but it only matters if you use a professional tracking system that also supports Sync.
