In Aximmetry 2020.8 release notes the following paragraph:
- IMPORTANT: installation layout went through major changes, it’s highly advisable to fully uninstall the previous version of Aximmetry DE and Unreal Editor for Aximmetry manually.
Why?
If we did not uninstall the software but do in-place update are there any problems by doing that?
You might not encounter any issue, but we recommend it for safety.
Please note that there are no drawbacks whatsoever of doing a manual uninstallation first, your settings and projects will remain intact.
