Hi Team, I followed your tutorial https://aximmetry.com/wiki/index.php?title=Basic_Lens_Calibration_(without_lens_distortion) on how to set up external encoders. I'm using a glassmark encoder for zoom and another one for focus. Thanks to your tutorial the zooming works for now.
But I dont understand how to set up the focus? The tutorial says "For e.g. you can calibrate at 5 different zoom positions and 5 different focus positions for each zoom. In this case you will have to calibrate for 5 x 5 = 25 different positions."
How do I define the "correct" focus dinstance? Please let me know!
Thanks, Jan
Hi Jan,
This part of the documentation is not about calibrating focus distance.
Unfortunately in the current version it is not possible.
But in the next release we'll provide the option to manually enter a focus distance for each zoom + focus positions.
