Allow virtuals made the billboard transparent

 

Hi guys,


Need help on the following:

I'm using tracked cam with billboards, and when I tick on the allow virtuals, the billboard will become transparent.

Did you update all your Unreal Engine virtual cam assets in your Unreal project when you updated to the latest version of Aximmetry DE and reattach the unreal project node with the Tracked cam node?  I think there is a new "B mask" pin that needs to be connected.

Yes, I've updated the tracked cam blueprint in UE, and is using the new B mask.


I did some more test, it seems that the allow virtuals function is pickier with the keyed object, especially when there's a strong virtual light behind it. It has to be perfectly keyed to avoid the transparent feeling.

See below, i'm using extra light on the jacket to get it better keyed, and it then performed better when the allow virtuals on.

Hope Aximmetry could improve this, an expert says adding an extra layer behind the billboard could fix the issue.
