Hi everyone,
I'm planning an XR setup with only a wall LED and no floor LED. In a normal XR workflow, the LED wall and floor define the area where the talent can move and perform, and the graphics extend outward from that area.
Without a floor LED, the AR graphics fill the entire floor area beyond the wall. Depending on the camera angle, this makes the talent appear cut off at around the waist, which isn't usable in practice.
To solve this, I'm thinking of creating a virtual floor LED area and using it as a mask, so the real floor stays visible inside the masked region and the AR graphics only appear outside it.
Can I customize the shape of this floor mask (e.g., circle, rectangle, or an arbitrary custom shape) instead of being limited to a fixed rectangular floor area?
Also, if there is a better or more recommended way to handle XR with a wall-only LED, I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know.
Setup: Aximmetry [version], [camera tracking system], wall LED only.
Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
