We are running 2026.2.0 on Win 11 with Decklink 8K Pro cards for 4K UHD HDSDI I/O. One of the inputs is an Atomos wireless video link that transmits UHD video from a laptop in the set to Aximmetry for product demos. As this will run UHD only over its HDMI output we convert the signal from the RX to HDSDI with a BMD Micro converter 12G and feed that into one of the Decklink inputs. That works fine so far.

Now we got another Decklink card, this time an 8K Pro G2 with the daughterboard for HDMI in and out. So I thought: "nice, let´s get rid of that micro converter and feed HDMI straight into the system". Drivers are installed, card works for all HDSDI ins and outs as expected, I can switch Input 1 to HDMI in BMD Desktop video, the HDMI signal shows up in BMD Media Express... but it only shows black in Aximmetry. Interestingly it does correctly recognise the input resolution and lets me select the device, but there is no actual video when I peek the signal. What´s going on here...?
