Due to the recent licensing changes we needed to find a way for our Unreal designers (contractors who do no hold an Aximmetry license but *do* have a commercial vanilla UE developer´s license) to still design for Aximmetry 2026.2.0. As it turns out there was no change in UE editor version between Aximmetry 2025.3.0 and 2026.2.0, so this should be easy enough, right...?
Our current workflow is having them compose in Unreal 5.6.1 for Aximmetry (as it came free of charge with the Aximmetry 2025.3.0 Studio Version) then cooking the projects in the Unreal 5.6.1 editor that comes with our license of Aximmetry 2026.2.0 Broadcast and Film and running it in 2026.2.0. I am aware of the differences in camera blueprint handling, and UE prompts me to fix that when cooking for the first time anyway.
However there are occasional errors like Skylights missing. So what do we have to look for here to avoid this? Is there a list of the small differences between UE Editor for Aximmetry 2025.3.0 and UE Editor for Aximmetry 2026.2.0?
