Hello,
I am a teacher at Sichuan University of Media and Communications. We have been teaching students to use Aximmetry for virtual production practice. Due to recent software updates, we need our students to apply for the new version for teaching purposes.
However, after checking with the university today, we were informed that the university does not provide student email accounts (because the number of students is too large and the server cannot support so many accounts). Only faculty email accounts are available.
In this situation, I would like to ask whether students can apply using their personal email accounts. They can provide their student ID cards and an official certificate stamped by the university to prove that they are enrolled at Sichuan University of Media and Communications. I can also provide my faculty ID and teaching credentials as supporting documents.
Would this solution be eligible for the educational license? If not, are there any alternative ways for us to apply for or use the educational license?
Additionally, I found that my teacher email account is also unable to send emails to you. I tried several times, but all attempts failed. After consulting GPT, I learned that our school’s mail server IP has likely been added to the Spamhaus blacklist by the recipient server (Outlook), and therefore the emails are being rejected directly.
The recipient server considers our school’s sending IP address (118.114.52.14) to have a spam risk, so it refuses to accept the emails.
In this situation, if the teacher email account cannot send emails to you, and the students do not have school email accounts, would it still be possible to apply for the Education Exclusive license?
Thank you very much, and I look forward to your reply!
