Please help AR

Content Creation 3D Scene Editing Camera Tracking Augmented Reality Unreal

 

Hi, I'm getting desperate, follow all steps for UE4 AR tracked cam: start new UE4 follow project settings, place object, TAG it, etc. when I press play only see a black screen, no objects, nothing... so, when I open new project in Aximmetry DE and connect Tracked Cam AR to UE to my UE scene can not see anything, only markers. Tried to locate scene objects with Base Cam Transform but nothing.

I suppose I'm forgetting some stupid issue ... but tried it for several days and always same result

Hi Kikoso,
What happens when you press play in UE is irrelevant, since Aximmetry uses its own camera + processing.
So the interesting part is why don't you see anything in Aximmetry itself.

Are you sure you connected every pin between TrackedCam and your AR scene?


When you used Base Cam Transform, have you used the Y Rotation to look around in 360?
You might also want to do a check with Free Camera

and then look around with the left mouse button.

If you still have nothing on the screen, please send your UE scene to support@aximmetry.com and we'll check it.

Sorry for the delay.
The mistake was that you added the AximmetryAR tag to the Tags / Component Tags array.  Please put it into the Actor / Tags array.

Sorry for the confusion, the documentation did not draw attention to this possible mistake.

is well explained: Please make sure the tag is added to the Actor / Tags array and not the Tags / Component Tags array.
It´s my mistake ...

Do you manually add "AximmetryAR" on the Tags array or this is supposed to show automatically?
