SONY A 6400 calibration

Hello, How can I get the exact SONY A 6400 calibration profile?

There is no “exact calibration profile” for specific camera models with exchangeable lenses. The calibration needs to be done for each individual camera and lens combination. What tracking system are you using?

hi JohanF

Thank you for your consideration of my question, I use ANTILATECY as a tracking system, and The kit lens of my camera are the 16–50mm f/3.5–5.6 power zoom kit and I use only the 16 mm zoom option

can I make a calibration profile for my specific camera manualy?

Does anyone know a suitable solution?

Sure, just use the Aximmetry Camera calibrator. Since you don’t have a lens encoder, you have to make sure the camera is always fully zoomed out or the tracking calibration won’t work.

There are no camera-specific calibration workflows since the system doesn’t know or care what camera you’re using, you’re just sending a video signal from it.

I can’t find an option how to use camera calibrator without purchasing the whole software, and for now Im only doing my experiment before I can decide if to buy or not, for now the system doesn’t work properly because of the difference between the camera and the virtual environment, im trying this software over an year, and still couldn’t manage to make it work for virtual production,

I only wants to check if it’s working for me or not, for now I don’t think I have the true indication from this software.

there is any way to only get the calibration profile of my camera and to see if it’s working properly?

i cand send a video from my camera and maybe someone can do a calibration profile for me, if it’s okay?

If Ill see that it’s working for me I know I will buy the software.

It’s not that the system isn’t working correctly, it’s that you haven’t done the fundamental step of calibrating your tracking system and lens. Without doing this you can’t use camera tracking and that’s not a limitation of the software, it’s a foundational truth about how realtime camera tracking and virtual production works.

Who would you suggest should calibrate the camera for you, for free? That’s not going to happen. Also, you can’t calibrate the tracking offset from a video! It uses the live camera feed and the tracking data to do the offset calibration. I suggest that you watch some YouTube tutorials and read the documentation to get a better understanding of the basics. Aximmetry has several good tutorials on camera tracking. I think there’s one specifically for Antilatency that Frustum Virtual has done.

Hi,

I just wanted to add that we have recently expanded our available documentation on tracking. You can find it here:  https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/tracking/introduction-to-tracking/
There are now four pages dedicated to Testing of the Calibration.

Warmest regards,
