Plugin Installation Error in Aximmetry 2023.2.2

Hello. Thanks to all your kind help, I've always been able to solve my problems. I sincerely appreciate it.

I'm trying to use the Luma AI plugin in Aximmetry for Unreal Editor, but it won't load and shows an error. I also tried building it with Visual Studio, but that didn't fix the issue.

Am I missing something, or have I made a mistake?

The MetaHuman plugin also seems to have an issue and won't load, as you can see in the picture.

Plugin Installation Error in Aximmetry 2023.2.2

Steps I have tried

1.1. Moving the plugin folder: I moved the Luma AI plugin from the Unreal Engine 5.2.1 Marketplace folder to the Aximmetry DE 5.2 Marketplace folder. -> Failed.

1.2.Modifying the plugin: I tried changing the engine version within the plugin from 5.2.0 to Aximmetry DE 5.2. -> Failed.

2. Compiling with Visual Studio: I attempted to compile the plugin in an empty level using Visual Studio. -> Failed.

If possible, I would like to update my Aximmetry license to use the Volinga plugin, but due to budget issues, I have to stick with the current version for now.

I'm looking forward to your reply. Thank you.

Hi,

You should not modify the engine version of the plugin, and compiling it yourself will not work.

If you are using an Aximmetry version earlier than 2024.1.0, after copying the plugin to the Marketplace folder, you need to open the Unreal Editor for Aximmetry. Next, go to the Aximmetry menu at the top, and select Install Plugins to complete the installation of the plugins properly.

You can find detailed instructions for plugin installation with Aximmetry version earlier than 2024.1.0 here:

Warmest regards,

Thank you for your reply, but my issue has still not been resolved

I am trying to use the Luma AI Plugin with Unreal Engine for Aximmetry (UE for Aximmetry), but I am facing persistent issues.

I confirmed that the plugin works correctly in Unreal Engine 5.2.1.

Aximmetry 2023.2.2에서 플러그인 설치 오류 발생

Then, I copied the plugin from the UE 5.2.1 Marketplace folder into the Marketplace folder of Unreal Engine for Aximmetry.

When launching UE for Aximmetry, I encountered an error unless I modified the plugin’s uplugin file: Changed "EngineVersion" and "Buildid" to "Aximmetry DE 5.2".

Without this modification, UE for Aximmetry would not even start.

After that, I ran Install Plugins in UE for Aximmetry, and the plugin installation process seemed to complete. (and cooked complete)

However, when I opened Aximmetry DE Composer, I received the following errors:

[LogPluginManager] Engine version string in D:/Unreal_File/Plugin_Test/Plugins/LumaAI/LumaAIPlugin.uplugin could not be parsed ("Aximmetry DE 5.2")

[LogPluginManager] Plugin 'LumaAIPlugin' failed to load because module 'LumaRuntime' could not be found. Please ensure the plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project.

Unreal Engine stopped. Please save and reopen your compound.

How should I resolve the missing LumaRuntime module error?

Here is the link to download the Luma AI plugin. I’m attaching it in case it might help with resolving the issue.

“If not, is there any chance I could at least try out the trial version 2023.3.2?”

@gibeon. He told you what to do and gave you a link with instructions. Why not try following the instructions instead of doing something completely different?

You can always use the free, watermarked version. The latest beta might not be available, but the version supporting UE5.5 is.

I’m sorry if there was any misunderstanding. I have re-checked the link with the instructions and tried everything step by step, as well as a few alternative methods, but unfortunately the issue was not resolved. Since Luma AI only supports up to UE 5.3, while the Aximmetry license I currently have is limited to UE 5.2, I requested the trial version only to test the Luma plugin.

Then, it seems your response might be: “Why not just pay for maintenance and use an earlier version?” However, because this is a school account, I need approval from the school, which may take over a month.

I would really like to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

However, there may be something I missed, so I will go back and check the instructions again and try once more. Thank you

You can’t use a plug-in for UE5.3 in UE5.2!

I never said you should pay for maintenance. Just download the latest release of Aximmetry as the free, watermarked version. Note that the version of UE5 used by Aximmetry must match the version of UE5 the plug-in is built for. Trying to use a plugin built for one UE5 version in another UE5 version is bound to fail, especially since you clearly don’t have any experience with compiling custom plug-ins.
