How are you getting the lens data if you don’t have a tracking system? You want to be able to zoom in/out, in sync with the virtual world, right? This requires lens tracking data somehow and how you accomplish this depends on what camera you’re using. So what camera are you using? 
Also, why does your system design have a sync generator if you’re not using camera tracking? Aximmetry will genlock to the camera signal, not the sync generator, and it doesn’t matter if the camera itself is genlocked.
