Help!! - Virtual Cam / Virtual Screens Black After Update to 2025.2

Hi there,

can someone please give me some guidance on an issue I've encountered since updating to the newest version of Aximmetry, 2025.2

The model is the Virtual Studio set:

https://www.fab.com/listings/8b535ff2-39a5-4add-9c57-bf296c20a74e

I've made a new version of the studio and created the virtual screens using the aximmetry documentation:

https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/obtaining-graphics-and-virtual-assets/creating-content-for-aximmetry-de/advanced-information-and-features/virtual-screens-in-unreal-from-aximmetry/?srsltid=AfmBOoquccy1R7pkGw1Uhj_-MW7B3zzlFtG0Cw-NgrWPvYSZ84bc6yB9

When setting up the new model I had to active substrate materials (Beta) in project settings per warming message.

The video below best describes the issue I'm having.

I'm hoping this is an easy fix so any support on how to resolve this would be much appreciated.

Best

Hi,

It appears to be a mipmap issue.
First, make sure that Generate Mipmaps is enabled in the Get Aximmetry Video node:

If enabling Generate Mipmaps does not resolve the problem, the next steps will depend on the method you used to create the virtual screen.
Try adjusting the following Mip settings in the material:
For example, set MipValueMode to MipLevel (absolute, 0...) and Const Mip Value to 0.

If you are using Media Plate, you could try enabling RealTime Mips:

If none of these resolve the issue, note that other features, such as LOD (Level of Detail) levels, can also cause similar behavior.

Warmest regards,
