Synchronizing the camera with the tracker
Just set the delay manually. Have someone pan the camera and stop quickly while careful adjusting the tracker delay. Eventually you will see it lock into sync with the background. You could also add a Smoother with a very low value instead of(or in combination with) a delay. Use a very low value since too much will break tracking if the camera moves fast. The smoother will help reduce the Antilatency jitter.
Hi,
If you can not find a Tracking Delay value manually, like Johan said. Then, in some rare cases, you may require a negative delay value. For more information on this, read: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/inner-workings-of-aximmetry/in-to-out-latency/#negative-delay
If you are working with LED wall productions, note that there are two different delay values involved, and setting them is more complex compared to green screen or AR (Augmented Reality) productions.
Also, the Tracking Delay feature is very sensitive to having more than one red or blue object within the camera's picture. There are also some additional notes about it here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/green-screen-production/tracked-camera-workflow/inputs-tracked-camera/#using-auto-delay
Warmest regards,
?
