Hi there,
Just setup an AR Project using Broadcast DE with tracked camera and 1 cube with shadow and reflections catcher. Everything works great but the CPU and GPU just overloads as soon as I start the compound.
Any tips on what is causing this issue? My machine meets the requirements by Aximmetry and with a project with 2 tracked cams and a large unreal scene, it performs well.
Hi,
The shadow and reflection catchers are resource-intensive features. If you are using Unreal's Lumen, increasing the scene size generally does not make the scene significantly more demanding on resources.
Are you sure that your current rendering frame rate and resolution settings match those you used previously with tracked cameras? Additionally, ensure that the Unreal Editor is closed when you are running a cooked project, as having both open simultaneously will affect performance.
Warmest regards,
