Hi Team,
I am using an LED wall to display an unreal scene with a tracked camera,
I am experiencing inconsistent results on the led wall output Vs the studio free cam mode.
The shadows and shading are much more pleasant and accurate to design on the free cam output, with gradations and soft shadow
The led wall output shows hard shadows. What are the possible ways to remedy this?
Hi,
You are likely seeing the Fill instead of the Frustum. The Fill should not appear in your studio camera's view if the camera is properly tracked. However, if you have not installed tracking yet, you could point the camera at the LED Wall using the Delta Cam Transf parameter in the ORIGIN panel of the INPUT control board.
Detailed information about the Fill and Frustum can be found here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/led-wall-production/using-led-walls-for-virtual-production/#render-passes-single-vs-multi-machine-configuration
If you wish to have the Fill render at a quality level close to that of the Frustum, you can adjust the Fill Resolution Multiplier to 1 and set the Fill Quality to High:

Warmest regards,
