We´re running Broadcast DE 2024.3.0 and had this happen twice now! Anyone else seen this?
So we open Axi like we always do, and when opening a project we get messages that there´s "no device mapped" where we have always seen our camera input (or virtual screen for that matter).
When I open device mapper its completely reset. No cameras are mapped, no game controllers (streamdeck) and all tracking devices and settings are just gone. Its like when you open axi for the first time.
Also noticed that the layout in the program weird, so I had to reset to default layout.
Settings for video outputs, remote renderers and directories are not touched, only the device mapper is reset.
This is a major inconvenience and luckily we were not doing any recordings today!
So Im wondering what´s causing this and how it can be avoided. Are the device mapper settings stored in a file somewhere and therefore potentially restorable?
Id like to add that there was a windows update between it working normally and the wiped device mapper settings.

Did you receive an error message stating something similar to "invalid XmlNodeType"?:
If so, this could be causing the behavior you are experiencing. We are aware of this issue and are currently working on a fix.
In the meantime, you can start the legacy startup screen and use the Manage Settings... menu to save all your settings. This way, you will be able to reload them if you experience another reset as you described:
Saving settings will be available on the new startup screen in the next version of Aximmetry.
