FREED Set FOCUS and IRIS values to sync with the virtual AR camera?

How do I set this up? In Aximmetry DE, when using a Panasonic UE150 camera, the goal is to synchronize the FOCUS and IRIS values with the virtual AR camera via the FREED protocol. This is to achieve consistent depth of field effects—and shading effects—for example, when the real background is out of focus, the AR text should also appear blurred.

Hi,

The next Aximmetry update will include aperture (Iris) tracking, which will be applied to the AR and Green cameras.
Until the update is available, if you wish to implement this feature, you will need to manually edit the camera blueprint in Unreal.

Warmest regards,

Hi,

Aximmetry 2025.2.0 BETA has just been released and now includes aperture (iris) tracking.

Note that the iris encoder value is read from protocols that support it. (Free-D officially does not support it, but some tracking systems like HTC Vive Mars use the spare "user" field for that purpose, and Aximmetry reads that.)

Warmest regards,
