Getting Vicon Live Link in Cooked Mode into Aximmetry

Hi Team,

I'm using Vicon Shogun in my studio, and I would like to integrate Vicon Motion Captured Real-time animated characters into my Aximmetry Scenes.

I have followed some of the instructions stated here to allow the project to work on cooked mode :

https://help.vicon.com/space/Unreal5Plugin18/14845980/Connect+to+Vicon+Datastream#Connect-to-Vicon-Datastream-using-blueprint-functions

However, after cooking, I can't get the animations in aximmetry even though they are working fine in unreal.

Can I please have some help as to how to enable the live link to be activated from a cooked project?

Thanks,

Terence

Hi there, it's been a while since I posted this, no answer still. Can I please have some help?

I've tried following this tutorial :

https://help.vicon.com/space/Unreal5Plugin18/14846544/Packaging+a+project

But I can't convert the files to C++ to test cooked mode using right click on the project file. Any idea how I should proceed?

Hi,

I think you do not need to convert it to a C++ project. Simply move the plugin to the project folder and proceed with cooking it in Aximmetry.

Also, what is very important is to connect to the Vicon Datastream using blueprint functions rather than using the LiveLink menu in the Unreal Editor. This is detailed here under the Connect to Vicon Datastream using blueprint functions section: https://help.vicon.com/space/Unreal5Plugin18/14845980/Connect+to+Vicon+Datastream#Connect-to-Vicon-Datastream-using-blueprint-functions

Please report back if the issue persists. If it does, we will attempt to recreate the issue in detail.

Warmest regards,
