Aximmetry Eye works only on Wifi... no connection when cabled

I'm trying to use Aximmetry Eye and I run into a problem.

the connection between my PC and the App works only on Wifi.

the App doesn't see my pc over the cable connection. I've set up the manual IP for both (pc and Iphone) but my machine is not listed in the available machine... but if I remove the network adapter. It connects over the wifi and then I can see my machine in the listing.

the quality over the wifi is terrible, cannot keep up latency, camera stream is not sent, ...

what can I do to make the Iphone connect over the network ?

more details:

IP addresses are set to 192.168.1.99 and 192.168.1.100 for the PC and Iphone

Gateway is set to 255.255.255.0

I've set the resolution to 720p 30 hoping it would help with the latency issues

when launching the app.. I've got "no machine is available on the network" message if I keep the network adapter connected on the Iphone.

If I remove the network adapter, it connects over the wifi and I see the IP address of my machine (the wifi IP adress).

When using a wired connection, make sure to disable the Wi-Fi on your iPhone. Sometimes, the device may prioritize the Wi-Fi connection over the wired one.

On the connect screen, note that the first IP address displayed is not the adapter's IP address, nor the router's address, but your desktop computer's address. You can directly change this address by clicking on this button:

Additionally, if you encounter the cannot keep up latency message, it doesn't necessarily mean there is insufficient bandwidth. You might be able to resolve this issue by increasing the In-to-Out Latency in Aximmetry.
