Unfortunately, there are many problems in the 2024.3 version. I hope they will be solved.

So the project opens in the old version of Aximmetry? Seems like a basic file association error? Are both versions installed at their default locations? 

Of course, in the same locations, using the usual installation method.

I open a new project on 2024.3 and save it on the desktop.

I close the Aximmetry , go to the desktop, open the project that I saved. I find it on the old version 2024.2 , so it does not work with the new version of Unreal. So I open the Aximmetry  2024.3  then I open the project on the desktop. !!!

There are indeed some issues with the file association of .xcomp files. This will probably be addressed in the next Aximmetry release.

Until then, you should be able to fix it in the Windows Registry.
To do this, open the Start menu and type "Registry Editor."

Launch the program, and navigate to:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Aximmetry Compound\shell\open\command
Rename the key found there to the path of the Aximmetry.Composer.exe file that you want to use.

The new Aximmetry 2025.1.0 Beta includes the Version Manager app, which allows you to change the file association of .xcomp files. It also simplifies the management of multiple Aximmetry versions on one computer.
