Zero point in Aximmetry renderer and UE AR Renderer is different.

Hello!

My studio is calibrated using red spy tracking system with a well defined and marked ´Zero point´ on the floor in the center of my studio.

The issue i am having is that when i place an AR element, with a 0,0,0 position through Aximmetry renderer, it appears perfectly in the zero point i defined in my tracking system. However, when i place an element at 0,0,0 in unreal engine for aximmetry with AR Camera, the position dosent align perfectly with my zero point, and appears a bit shifted.

Why is that?

Thank you.

Hi,

It sounds like the Scene panel's Base Cam Transform or Scene Scale parameter might have been changed. You should make sure that these parameters are set to zero for position and one for Scale:
Zero point in Aximmetry renderer and UE AR Renderer is different.

Note, however, that if you had the same changes in the Aximmetry renderer's camera compound, you should get the same result as in Unreal.

If that’s not the case, to better understand the situation, could you please share more about how you are using the Aximmetry renderer?

Warmest regards,
