Hi,
Yes, it is possible. However, you will likely want to set up a multi-machine configuration since a single machine can only render one camera angle simultaneously. Here's one way you might structure the setup: Remote machine #1 could render camera A, while remote machine #2 could handle camera B. The camera compound would need to be configured accordingly on the control machine. Within this compound on the control machine, you could receive the video output from both remote machines and switch between them using transitions.
Several transition effects are available in the [Common]:Compounds\Transitions folder. There is also an example demonstrating how to use these transitions located at [Tutorials]:Misc Samples\Switch_Video_Smooth_Transitions.xcomp.
Additionally, the Video Switcher compound, which functions as a complete switcher solution similar to external switchers, can also utilize these transition effects. The switcher compound can be found at [Common_Studio]:Compounds\Switcher\Video_Switcher.xcomp.
Note, If a multi-machine setup is not feasible, you can keep the last frame before a camera switch and transition between that static image and the next camera's live image. You can use the Holder module to keep the last frame. If you need further details on how to achieve this, I can provide a step-by-step explanation.
Warmest regards,
