Aximmetry Eye keeps disconnecting

Hi all,

We are encountering issues with aximmetry eye. I can see my computer and connect to it via aximmetry eye. But when I hit "record" to start streaming tracking data etc, it will lose connection. After that it keeps loosing connection. We are on same network, iPhone 16 Pro is connected via USB-C to LAN and everything else works. We have static IP set, we also opened every port that Axi listens. If we connect iPhone directly to second LAN via crossed cable we dont see computer that runs aximmetry. Sadly documentation is very barebone and doesnt include some advanced network stuff.

Does anyone had similiar issue?

Hi,

Does Aximmetry receive data at all when you start streaming, or does the connection not initiate? If Aximmetry does receive data, the network bandwidth might be insufficient for effective video streaming. Also, note that the iPhone may be overheating which can lead to a lost connection.

Only one computer can connect to and receive data from the iPhone at a time. If you need other computers to access the data, you will need to forward the tracking or video from the Aximmetry Composer currently connected to your iPhone. For example, you can create a new SRT stream between the two computers. In the case of tracking data, you could use the Tracking Forward function of the INPUT panels.
This approach may not be ideal in some situations. If you can provide more details about why you need to receive the data on multiple computers, we may be able to offer better advice.

Warmest regards,

Hi Eifert! :) I´m connecting iPhone to single computer via LAN. Broadcast PC will show up in Eye application, but when I hit record it goes for a few seconds like 1-3 and then lose connection. It will only show green text, but will not receive output from Broadcast pc and then lose connection. After that it will continously loose connection even without hitting that record button. I think there will be some culpript in network/firewall settings so I need to make multiple rules to open ports etc., I just dont know which. Some ports are listed in log when I´m trying to connect, but still without working solution.

Hi,

You should first try turning off the firewall altogether and see if that works. If turning off the firewall resolves the issue, you can then turn it back on and set specific rules for the necessary ports.

Additionally, are you currently connecting the iPhone directly to the computer? You should attempt a direct connection first, as there could be a firewall or settings in the router that might be blocking the connection.

Warmest regards,
