I was wondering if anyone can explain how does the CPU load is calculated.
In Aximmetry I have load 95%, but when I open task manager it only shows 8% utilization.

Hi Sindri,
The utilization percentage in the Task Manager refers to the load on all your 24 cores.
Many processes in Unreal Engine are not optimized to run on multiple cores simultaneously, and some cannot be optimized for multi-core use at all.
So Aximmetry shows the percentage of the per-frame time allocation utilized by the CPU. More on that here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/inner-workings-of-aximmetry/rendering-settings/#processor-load-display
To get a clearer picture of the CPU load, you should change the graph to Logical Processors in the Task Manager:
