NDI to input a video

If I want to use NDI to input a video and play it on a virtual screen, how can I maintain the clarity of my video? Right now, the video quality is significantly degraded when I play it directly.

Or is there a way for me to control the playback progress of the video when playing it on a virtual screen?

This is the Unreal TAA/TSR smudging and not anything to do with NDI or Aximmetry. You need to set up the screen material to bypass the TAA, using Aximmetrys customized rendering pipeline. This is explained in the documentation and many times in this forum as well.

Hi,

Recently we created a document solely on Virtual Screens in Unreal here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/preparation-of-the-production-environment-phase-i/obtaining-graphics-and-virtual-assets/creating-content-for-aximmetry-de/advanced-information-and-features/virtual-screens-in-unreal-from-aximmetry/#introduction
To achieve a clear picture on the Virtual Screen, you'll need to use a Media Plate combined with the Overlay Material. This method helps eliminate TAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing) and TSR (Temporal Super Resolution) distortions.
Note that this method differs from the previous ones discussed in the forum.

Warmest regards,
