Hi,
Saw the recent IBC demo with a static digital double avatar of a boxer (Clear Angle).
Have been looking at DE with Eye.
Great stuff and looking for a proof of concept.
I am a noobie.
Is there an opportunity for a 'tutorial' as to how to import such a model into say, your 'News, tracked camera scene'?
Hi,
He was scanned by Prism AI and Volinga AI using Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF).
There are multiple companies offering this kind of scanning. In the case of Volinga, you can use their solution here: https://volinga.ai/
Their product is designed for Unreal and uses a special file format for their models, so it can most likely only be used with Unreal. To use Unreal, you will need a different scene than [Studio]:News Room as that Scene uses Aximmetry's own render engine. You can, for example, use the Unreal scenes under the [Tutorials]:Unreal folder or purchase scenes from Aximmetry's webshop: https://my.aximmetry.com/User/WebShop
The importing process for Volinga is fairly easy and is described on their portal.
You will spend much more time scanning the models compared to importing them.
If you are still interested in importing models into Aximmetry, you can find a detailed description of how to do so here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/preparation-of-the-production-environment-phase-i/obtaining-graphics-and-virtual-assets/creating-content-in-aximmetry-se/importing-a-3d-model/
Warmest regards,
