Hello,

I have an urgent problem.

During a rehearsal for a live production, my computer suddenly shut down and now I can no longer open the aximmetry project:

ERROR

hexadecimal value 0x00, is an invalid character. Line 1. position 1

Does anyone have an idea how I can fix this quickly because I have customers here at the moment and the rehearsal is supposed to continue?

Hi,

You can use the backup files, as described here: https://my.aximmetry.com/post/4230-what-are-these-files-xcompbak

Note that the .xcomp file itself is a text file, so you can open it with any text editor to see what might be going wrong at Line 1. However, if the file is corrupted, you might not be able to open it. In that case, I recommend testing your computer for hardware failures, especially in your drives, after the production.
