Error when opening the cooked project module in Composer

Hello, I am using AximmetryDE version 2024.2.0 to attempt streaming body skeleton data via the ZEDLiveLink plugin provided officially for the zed2 device. I placed the plugin in the project folder and completed the baking process in Unreal Editor without any issues. However, when opening the cooked project module in Composer, I encountered an error as shown in the image.

Error when opening the cooked project module in Composer

Could you provide any suggestions or help? Thank you very much!

By the way, I only used the basic project provided by the Tutorials for testing.

Does it work if you disable the plugin? You could also try placing the plugin in the UE5 Project folder (create a Plugins folder there).

HI, When I disable the this plugin, everything is normal in Composer.and it is precisely because I placed the plugin in the UE5 projectfolder that I was able to cook successfully, otherwise it would been display a warning:“Missing precompiled manifest for '...'. This module was most likely not flagged for being included in a precompiled build - set 'PrecompileForTargets = PrecompileTargetsType.Any;' in ... to override. If part of a plugin, also check if its 'Type' is correct.

and i create a Dump file use cook(debug),but I don't know how to send it to you。

Seems like the problem is with the plugin. It doesn’t work with DX12 and also not with shipping builds. Not sure if Aximmetry works with DX11 anymore. You’ll certainly lose a lot of the UE5 rendering features if you’re not running DX12. The shipping builds issue might also cause problems with the Aximmetry cook, but not sure. I hope you can figure out a way to get this working, since I can see a lot of use cases for it.

I already gave you the solution. Did you try changing to DX11 and cooking in debug mode? The problem isn’t with Aximmetry but with the plugin itself. You should contact the developer and urge them to fix support for DX12 and cooking in shipping builds.

Hi,

You should also consider trying it in Live Sync mode. You can find more information on Live Sync here: https://aximmetry.com/learn/virtual-production-workflow/preparation-of-the-production-environment-phase-i/obtaining-graphics-and-virtual-assets/creating-content/creating-content-for-aximmetry-de/interactive-editing-with-live-sync/
You bypass using the cooked project (shipping build) by using the Live Sync mode.

Warmest regards,
