Design a set with Unreal on a MacBook and then import that project into Aximemetry DE on a PC before cooking?

We have been spending the past couple weeks setting up Aximmetry in our studio. Really great app. One of our designers has an Apple M2 MacBook. I understand that Aximmetry does not work with Macs (especially with Silicon chips). But.... can the designer build a set using Unreal Engine 5.3 on their Mac and send us that project so we can open it on a PC running Unreal/Aximmetry DE? Or maybe they export assets from their version of Unreal on their Mac?

Yes, just download EGS and UE 5.3 from there. Our 3D artist works in C4D and UE on Mac, then we zip it and transfer to PC with Unreal for Aximmetry and make conversion there.

The design part shouldn’t be an issue at all on mac and you could probably even open a project from UE5 Aximmetry on vanilla Unreal on Mac. Where you might start to see issues is if you rely on plugins in your scene that’s not supported on mac. Not sure if things like GPU Lightmass is supported on Mac either.

So, it’s definitely doable but maybe not ideal.
