Aximmetry Unreal Engine 2024.2 Cooking Error

 

Hello, I am trying to cook a UE5 level to use with Aximmetry DE. I have added virtual camera, attempt to cook and receive this error. I have removed spaces from the filepath and still the issue persists.

I have attempted cooking with a blank project, it works.

The cooking error appears in two different environments that I've imported though. I have yet to be able to use a pre-made environment with Unreal for Aximmetry.

Try to disable the iterative cooking. Did you install all the Visual Studio dependencies as per the documentation?

Thank you for answering. I loaded Visual Studio Installer and modified the installation as per the manual. I restarted Aximmetry and the PC and still have the same issue, iterative cooking checked or not. Here is a link to the full log file:

So the cooking error is level-specific. I followed the error log and found the parent class in question and deleted it, which allowed me to cook the level for use with Aximmetry.

Is there any way around this? I have all the VSS dependencies installed and was hoping there would be a more streamlined way to test Marketplace assets.

I think that if it doesn’t cook for UE5 Aximmetry it wouldn’t cook (compile) for regular UE5 either. Having a game engine as the graphics engine means that you’ll also get the game engine stuff you don’t need/want, unfortunately. Compiling is definitely one of those things.
