Launch issue - OneCloud

 

Hi,
Having an issue launching the software on my laptop that has OneCloud.
Occurs with both SE and DE installs.

The install does not write an Aximmtery file in the documents folder.
If I populate with folders, then it fails on the Log entry.

I have been able to install on a desktop with no issues.

Both computer have Windows 10

Just don’t install into a OneDrive folder. That’s a recipe for disaster. These files should be local only.

Hi,

Are you sure OneDrive is the issue?
We haven't encountered errors like yours when using OneDrive (Windows 11). You may have archived the Documents folder in some way with OneDrive, which is preventing it from being written over.
Note that even if there is no Aximmetry folder in the Documents folder of Windows, Aximmetry will create one when you start up Aximmetry Composer. Thus, there is no need to manually copy or create an Aximmetry folder there. You should delete the one you created, as this might resolve the issue.

Alternatively, if OneDrive is indeed the source of the problem, you could turn off Sync for the Documents folder in OneDrive's settings:
