About Camera Colibrator's Sensor Width

If my camera lens uses three 1/2" sensors (such as SONY Z280), when using the camera colibrator tool, what should be entered in the sensor width field? I checked online that the width of the 1/2" sensor should be 6.40mm. , then if I use a three-element camera, should I just input 6.40mm or should I input 6.4*3=19.2mm?

Hi,

Note, that the sensor width does not affect the accuracy of calibration and tracking. The only downside of providing incorrect values is that the displayed focal length values in Aximmetry won't match the real-world focal length.

In theory, just because of the 3 CMOS sensor, you don't need to multiply the sensor width by 3. However, this is just theoretical. You could ask the manufacturer for the exact size or check the camera's manual for this information.

Warmest regards,
