Is anyone using it to get 4 live inputs at once?

Looking at buying one, just confused by;

Please note that Blackmagic Decklink Quad HDMI Rec and Magewell cards are only capable of capturing. They are only suitable if you do local recording.

Im possibly being a bit dumb and explanation would be appreciated :)

It means that the card can’t output video, only capture it. If you would want to capture the output of Aximmetry and record it on an external recorder, you won’t be able to do that through this card. You could of course just record the output of your GPU, but I don’t think you’ll get the best image quality that way.

Appreciated :) can we use a second (different) decklink card to output to a recorder insead?

Hi Techatox, yes, you can use second card (a HDMI one in your case).
